Sending your academic essay, thesis, or article for proofreading before submission is a key step to success, whether you are a novice, confident, or native English-language speaker. There is no substitute for the peace of mind that comes from having a fresh pair of eyes read through your work and root out spelling, grammar, and formatting issues.
Proofreading
I will go through your document line-by-line and suggest changes to correct spelling errors, fix grammatical issues, and improve sentence flow and overall structure.
Personalised Feedback
I typically use Microsoft Word's Reviewing function to suggest changes, so that you can scan through suggestions with ease and decide for yourself whether they are appropriate for your work, as well as a summary comment with any notes or systemic issues.
Additionally, if you want to arrange a short phone or video call to talk through suggestions or comments, I am more than happy to accommodate you!
Express Service
I usually covenant to have shorter projects back within three working days, and larger projects back within seven to ten days, depending on the length. If necessary, for a small surcharge you can get your work back in double-quick time.

Pricing
All prices are in Swedish Krona, excluding VAT. For projects that fall outside of the established pricing structure, simply get in contact to discuss your needs. By 'working days' I generally mean Monday-Friday excluding Public Holidays, but don't hesitate to let me know if you're in a bind and need special consideration.

Do you edit in different language varieties?
Absolutely. I've worked extensively with both British and American English, and as long as you let me know the variety you want your work to conform to, I can make sure it is standardis(z)ed to the proper form.

I thought I had more time, but I need my work back sooner!
Just get in touch! Sometimes deadlines move, and you shouldn't have to panic about getting your work back. Drop me a line, and we can work out a timeframe that takes the weight off your shoulders.

Will it still sound like my work?
Definitely. I'm not here to re-write your essay or change how your 'voice' sounds on the page. The key to good, personalised proofing is to make sure your work communicates what you want to say in a clear and error-free way.

Will you check the formatting of footnotes and references?
I will, though you won't find me chasing down page numbers to make sure you got the right one - that's on you! I've worked extensively with Chicago/Turabian and SBL styles, but I'm more than happy to proof referencing in other citation styles if you let me know what you're using.
